Cara Putman is the over-achieving, award-winning author of more than 30 books and several repackages. In 2005 she attended a book signing and when her husband told Colleen Coble that Cara wanted to write it became a forgone conclusion she would. Since her first book released in 2007, she has written for many publishers and is currently writing legal romantic suspense for Harper Collins Christian Publishing. Canteen Dreams tied for ACFW 2008 Book of the Year - Short Historical and Shadowed by Grace won the Christian Retailing's Best Award for Historical fiction and finaled in the Holt Contest. \n\nIn addition to writing, Cara is an attorney, lecturer at a Big Ten university, homeschooling mom, and active in women's ministry. Cara graduated with honors from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, George Mason Law School, and Krannert School of Management at Purdue University.
